Fly into Sorong, welcome dinner, then a morning boat transfer to Batanta Adventure Homestay. Simple bungalows right on the reef — manta cleaning station at your doorstep.

THE EXPERIENCE
DAY 3-4 - THE HUNT
Into the blue.
Morning spearing sessions on pristine reefs. Afternoon waterfall hike. A full day on the water. Fresh catch dinner every night — whatever you spear goes straight to the table.
DAY 5-6 - THE EXPEDITION
Fam & Gam Islands.
Pack camping gear, head to the remote islands. Two days completely off-grid. Spearing by day, beach fire by night, sleeping under stars on uninhabited coastline.
DAY 7-8 - RETURN
Last dinner. Fly home changed.
Return to Batanta for a final feast shared with Hans and the local crew. Celebrate the week. Transfer back to Sorong in the morning.
YOUR BASE
Batanta Adventure Homestay
Simple, beautiful, real. Bungalows on the beach and over the water — jungle behind you, coral reef in front. Run by Hans, a local who knows every current, every reef, every fish that moves through these waters.
This isn't a resort. It's a base camp. You're here to hunt, eat what you catch, and sleep well. Everything else is the ocean.
BONUS
Manta rays. Right off the porch.
The reef in front of the homestay is an active manta cleaning station. Step off the dock, drop under, and watch them glide past at arm's length.
